Adaptation of the Fear of COVID - 19 Scale: Its Association with Psychological Distress and Life Satisfaction in Turkey
Research Summary:
Fear of corona infection is widespread and affects a large number of people. This condition affects them both physically and mentally. Has a significant impact on Anxiety and Stress. A psychological study of 1305 people living in 75 different cities in the Turkish region was conducted to determine the effect of fear on Depression, Anxiety, Stress, and Life Satisfaction.
Research Findings:
- Fear of corona infection is on the rise, while depression, anxiety, and stress are on the rise, and also if the fear of Covid will reduce this depression, anxiety, and stress features also reduce.
- Whenever the fear of corona infection increases the quality of life Satisfaction of the people decreases and whenever the fear of infection decreases the quality of this Life Satisfaction increases.
Note: Because this study is conducted in a narrow area and various factors play an important role in Depression Anxiety Stress and Life Satisfaction, this study cannot be generalized to people living in all parts of the world.

Sample:
Reached 1304 Participants from 75 cities in Turkey. Of all participants, 917( 70.3%) were females and 387(29.7%) were males whose ages ranged from 18 to 64 years.
